Dr. Thurman
Dr. Brian Thurman has spent his entire life enjoying all the beauty that California has to offer. A Fresno native, he still escapes to the ocean or the mountains whenever his busy schedule allows. Driven by his love for natural beauty, Dr. Thurman enjoys creating beautiful smiles and healthy bites that last a lifetime. He is proud to be the only Ivy League trained Orthodontist in the Fresno/Clovis area.
Graduated as the class salutatorian from Clovis West High School where he was also the basketball captain and 3 time valley champion of the men’s basketball team.
Graduated with high honors in biopsychology from the University of California—Santa Barbara (UCSB).
Earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the top of his class from the University of California, San Francisco.
Completed a specialty orthodontic residency program at Columbia University in New York and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics degree.
To stay up to date with the latest in orthodontic advances and better serve his patients, Dr. Thurman regularly attends continuing education courses and remains active in various national, regional and local professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the California Dental Association (CDA). He is a Diamond Provider of Invisalign and is highly trained in treating patients of all ages, children and adults alike.
Dr. Thurman could not be happier in Fresno. He enjoys staying active and spends as much time outdoors as possible. He loves a good work out-hiking, surfing, snowboarding and playing golf and basketball are a few of his many hobbies. He spends as much time as possible with family and friends and enjoys giving back to the community he loves.
You can often find Dr. Thurman, his amazing staff, family and friends out supporting the local community. He encourages his patients to join him as they volunteer regularly at a variety of charitable organizations in Fresno, Clovis and the surrounding areas.
